About the Role
We are looking for a driven and technically sharp Sales Engineer (or Sr. Sales Engineer) to join our Domestic Sales team, based out of Mumbai / Navi Mumbai. You will be the frontline for sales and business development in your assigned territory — building lasting relationships with existing customers and aggressively pursuing new ones.
What You’ll Do
- Generate leads through direct visits, website inquiries, trade shows, India Mart, social media, and employee referrals
- Qualify incoming leads and present tailored company solutions
- Understand customer technical and product requirements and match them to our offerings
- Manage the full sales cycle: demo → technical approval → RFQ → order
- Update and maintain lead pipeline and opportunity status in CRM
- Prepare daily visit schedules and submit weekly call reports
- Attend quarterly business review meetings with the ASM / Sales team
- Submit travel expense claims and sample requests as needed
- Coordinate with commercial management, R&D, and technical teams for smooth deal closure
What We’re Looking For
- Education: BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunication, or Electrical — OR MBA (Marketing) with an electronics background
- Experience: 3 to 10 years in technical/B2B sales, preferably in the electronics industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High accountability and dependability
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is a plus
