Injection moulding is a manufacturing process that enables components to be manufactured in large quantities known as injection moulding components. It is done by injecting molten materials into a mold design. The main benefit of injection moulding is the ability to scale up production to produce many parts. Once the initial costs of the mold design have been covered, the price of manufacturing injection moulding components is very low. The cost of production drops as more and more parts are produced.

Injection moulding also produces minimal wastage than traditional manufacturing processes like CNC machining, which cuts away excess materials. Despite this, injection moulding components produce a little waste, primarily from the sprue, the runners, the gate areas, and any overflow substances that flow out of the part cavity (also called ‘flash’).

The final advantage of injection moulding is that it allows for the production of many identical parts, which allows for part reliability and consistency in high volume production. Our diversified Toolroom and Moulding sections not only cater to our in-house needs but are suppliers to some renowned names in the automotive industry. We apply our core competencies to develop the best possible mold design, i.e. tooling solution tailor-made to meet your needs and requirements— so you can take advantage of our extensive know-how and decades of practical experience.
