The manufacturing engineering department is supported by a team of specially skilled engineers with tooling and software background. Concurrent activities of tool design, tool manufacturing is considered.

Tool Manufacturing:
Tool design and manufacturing is niche area of GIC expertise. The tool room is equipped with EDM Wire cut machines of Japanese make, EDM small hole drilling machine, Spark erosion machines, Universal grinding machines and several other heavy duty high precision machines to attain international quality of tools and moulds.
 
Component Manufacturing:

Manufacturing of various injection molded plastic and sheet metal components is a niche area of GIC’s expertise.
Installed is a state-of-art component manufacturing facility equipped with Injection Molding machines of International makes likes ARBURG, ENGEL and auxiliaries such as Mould Temperature Controllers, Hot Air Dryers, Robotic Pick systems, Vacuum Loaders requiring minimum human intervention for its electronic automation products and customized products.

Product Assembly:

The assembly department is housed in an Anti-static and Dust free environment. It has a semi automated production line where in assembly of variety of products are made by skilled persons using in-house designed Software, Hardware, Test Equipment, Jigs and Fixtures.
Automated Surface Mounting Technology (SMT) line for PCB manufacturing The SMT facility helps in minimizing contamination, eliminate common defects like wrong polarity, dry solder, or no solder, wrong component placement etc. This enhances the product quality, productivity and helps attain a cost effective production cycle with minimum lead-time in order execution.
